A 26 year old Napa-area female transient was arrested just before 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving after police allege she assaulted a man at a home in the 2000 block of Wilkins Avenue.

Leticia Patino Campos was taken into custody on suspicion of domestic violence with serious injury.

According to the police log, officers were dispatched to a report of an assault that occurred at an apartment in the 2000 block of Wilkins Avenue.

Officers arrived at the apartment and contacted the male victim, who was sitting at the kitchen table. The man had cuts on his face, upper chest, right hand and left arm.

The man told the officers that his girlfriend, Campos, had been drinking and, for no apparent reason, attacked him by clawing his chest, face and causing injuries to his body.

None of the man’s injuries required immediate medical attention. Officer went next door and contacted the neighbor about the incident.

The neighbor told the officers that Campos was hiding in the back bedroom. Officers contacted Campos and arrested her for domestic violence.

Campos was booked into Napa County Department of Corrections.
