Wanted Felon Arrested on Solano Ave.

The Vacaville man had two outstanding warrants and a small amount of suspected methamphetamine, according to Napa police. A Napa man was also jailed in a separate arrest involving suspected meth. Arrest information does not indicate convictions.

 

In the first hour of Saturday, Napa police jailed a Vacaville man who was wanted on multiple warrants, according to a shift activity log released by the :

On 05/12/12 about 0030 hours an NPD Officer contacted the suspect, Clarence Velles 52 years old of Vacaville, in the 4200 block of Solano Ave.

A records check on Velles revealed he had two outstanding warrants for being under the influence of a controlled substance and a felon being in possession of tear gas.

Velles was placed under arrest and his person was searched. The Officer located drug paraphernalia and a small amount of suspected methamphetamine.

In additon to the outstanding warrants, Velles was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Also arrested for methamphetamine Friday night was a 22-year-old Napa man, according to the log:

On 05/11/12 about 2235 hours an NPD Officer contacted the suspect, Jose Luis Marron-Torres 22 years old of Napa, in the 2500 block of First Street.

Torres displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

A search of his person revealed a small amount of suspected methamphetamine on his person.

Another small quantity of methamphetamine was located on the ground in the area where Torres was first observed.

Torres and Velles were both booked at the , police said. Arrest information does not indicate convictions.
