Three Assaulted, Man Arrested After Search

A helicopter and canine search proved fruitless, but the 21-year-old man was finally arrested: Information from the Napa Police Department does not indicate a conviction.

A Napa man violated a domestic violence restraining order Friday morning and assaulted three people, two of them elderly, according to a shift activity log released by the :

On 10-21-11 at approximately 1122 hours, officers responded to the 100 block of Cornwall Street concerning a disturbance.

Officers were advised that Antonio Alejandre (21 yrs) was at the victim’s residence and in violation of a Domestic Violence Restraining Order.

During the disturbance, Alejandre assaulted two elderly victims and a third victim.

Alejandre fled the residence on a bicycle and was seen by responding officers in the area of Avon Street and Harrison Avenue.

Alejandre failed to stop for officers and was last seen in the 400 block of Freeway Dr.

A perimeter was set by officers. Officers searched the area with the assistance of a police K9 and aircraft with negative results.

At approximately 1800 hours, officers received information that Alejandre was at a residence in the area of George Street and Brown Street.

Officers responded to the area and quickly arrested Alejandre without further incident.

Alejandre was taken to for medical clearance prior to being booked at the .

While at the hospital, Alejandre tried to escape and was restrained by an emergency room staff member.

Alejandre actively resisted which resulted in the deployment of a Taser by officers.

After his trip to the emergency room, Alejandre was booked at the Napa County Department of Corrections for battery, elder abuse, violation of a domestic violence restraining order, resisting arrest and escape, according to the police log.
