Three Arrested in Napa After Alleged Domestic Assault

The reported assault resulted in the arrest of one man for domestic violence, one man for drugs and one woman found to be an ex-felon with ammunition and a smoking pipe, according to Napa police.

 

Two Napa men were arrested in the first hour of Tuesday morning and a woman was jailed Tuesday afternoon following a reported domestic assault at about 12:45 a.m., according to a shift activity log released by the :

On 06/12/12 about 0045 hours NPD Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Caymus St. regarding an assault.

The victim told Napa Central Dispatch that the suspect, Daniel Castillo 24 years old of Napa, fled in a truck driven by one of his friends.

During the investigation it was alleged Castillo and the victim got into an argument which turned physical.

Castillo hit, grabbed and threatened the victim during the argument.

The victim had a court protective order against Castillo and he was on Napa County Probation.

NPD Officers located the truck Castillo fled in and stopped it in the area of Juarez St. / Post St.

Castillo was a passenger in the truck and he was placed under arrest for the domestic violence related charges.

A search of the truck revealed suspected methamphetamine, vicodin and ecstasy.

The driver and owner of the truck, Michael Dunne 26 years old of Napa, was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

Dunne was arrested for transportation and possession of a controlled substance and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Both Castillo and Dunne were transported to and booked.

During the service of a search warrant at Dunne’s residence in the 2500 block of Butte St in the City of Napa CA at approximately 1330 hours, Jerrie Lynn Valencia 7-2-59, was contacted and found to be an ex-felon, who had ammunition and a glass smoking pipe under her care and control inside the residence.

Valencia was booked at the jail, police said. Arrest information does not indicate convictions.
