Theft Suspect Arrested by Napa Police

32-year-old Napa man booked after police allegedly discover stolen items in his possession.

 

A 32-year-old Napa man was arrested at 2:40 a.m. today after Napa police allegedly discovered him in possession of stolen items.

Travis Thompson was booked at Napa County Detention Center on suspicion of burglary, vandalism, possession of stolen property, theft and public intoxication, police said.

Police said they responded to a call after 2 a.m. today that a suspect was inside a vehicle and trying to steal it in the area of Cabot Way and South Jefferson Street. Thompson was detained shortly thereafter near Imola Avenue

Police said Thompson, who allegedly showed signs of alcohol intoxication at the time of his arrest, had items stolen from the vehicle in his possession. He was also identified as a suspect in the theft of a fire extinguisher from an apartment complex in the area and using it to break at least 14 outdoor lights at the complex, causing more than $400 in damages.

--Police arrested Ryan Peek, 37, of Napa, on suspicion of domestic violence after a 2:25 a.m. 9-1-1 hangup today in the area of Solano Avenue and West Park Avenue. A woman told police that Peek allegedly choked and punched her during an argument. Police located Peek later on foot in the area of the First Street overpass and arrested him. He was booked at NCDC.

--Police arrested Raquel Ellis, 24, of Napa, on suspicion of domestic violence, resisting and obstructing an officer and public intoxication after an incident at 10:45 p.m. Friday in the 3500 block of Villa Lane. Police said Ellis allegedly was involved in a fight with another person when they arrived. When police tried to detain Ellis, she allegedly "physically resisted" them. Police said Ellis had hit and bit the other person in the fight, and also she displayed signs of alcohol intoxication. She was booked at NCDC.

--Napa police arrested Kimberly Dillon, 50, of Napa, on suspicion of possession of a deadly weapon and committing a felony while on bail or agreement after they allegedly found a set of metal knuckles at her home during a probation search at 12:35 p.m. Friday in the 2900 block of Hilltop Drive. Police conducted the search in conjunction with Napa County Probation Department. Dillon was booked at NCDC.
