A north Napa man was jailed Friday after a car dealership reported he’d damaged one of its vehicles on a test drive that lasted for hours, according to a shift activity log from the :
On 12/23/11 at approximately 1030 hours, the Napa Police Department investigated a report of a stolen vehicle from the on Soscol Ave.
It was reported that Dwaine Chuning test drove a vehicle for over 6 hours and returned it with broken windows and left the dealership.
Officers went to Chuning’s residence in the 3900 block of Klamath Way and conducted a probation search.
During the search, Chuning was found hiding in a bedroom and failed to obey lawful orders from officers.
Chuning was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft, vandalism, obstructing an officer, and violation of probation and booked at the , police said.
