Teens Steal Beer; Aide Victimizes Senior

Arrest information from the Napa Police Department does not indicate convictions.

Two teenaged Napa residents were arrested late Wednesday after supermarket employees spotted them stealing beer, according to a shift activity log from the :

On 04/04/12 about 2345 hours NPD Officers were dispatched to at 3375 Jefferson St. regarding underage subjects stealing alcohol.

Upon arrival NPD Officers contacted the suspects, Colby Brown 19 years old and a 14 year old male juvenile both from Napa.

Officers learned both subjects entered Safeway with the intent to steal beer. Both had been drinking alcohol.

Brown was placed under arrest for burglary and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The minor was arrested for burglary and later released to a relative.

Brown was booked at the , police said.

Also Wednesday night, police jailed a Vallejo woman on suspicion of stealing from an elderly resident of the assisted-living home where she was employed, according to the log:

On 04/03/12 an NPD Officer was dispatched to the regarding a theft report.

Upon arrival the Officer contacted the 87-year-old victim who reported items and cash being stolen from his room.

During the investigation it was learned the victim’s credit card was stolen and used at both Target stores in Napa and the Wal-Mart in American Canyon.

Evidence linking an employee, Robin Boyd, 21 years old of Vallejo, of Aegis was developed.

On 04/04/12 about 2300 hours Boyd was contacted by NPD Officers at the end of her shift at the Aegis. Boyd confessed to the crimes and the victim’s stolen credit card was located in her vehicle.

Boyd was booked at the Department of Corrections on suspicion of residential burglary, commercial burglary, elder abuse, possession of stolen property and unauthorized use of a credit card, police said.

Tuesday evening, police arrested a Napa man they said was under the influence of drugs and violating his probation: 

On 04/03/12 about 2010 hours NPD Officers were dispatched to the area of Clay Street/Jefferson Street regarding a subject who called 911 and reported that people were chasing him.

NPD Dispatch had received several prior 911 calls from the same phone number during the day.

Officers located the suspect, Kyle Domingo 22 years old of Napa. Officers determined Domingo was the subject calling 911.

Officers noticed Domingo displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. After Domingo was evaluated, it was determined he was under the influence of a controlled substance. Domingo was also on Napa County Probation. 

He was booked at the Department of Corrections, police said.
