Police: Burglar Enters Clay Street Home While Resident Sleeps

Napa police remind residents to lock doors and windows when they go to bed. The investigation into this "hot prowl" continues. In other crime news, Frank Folster, 23, was jailed after fleeing police following a fight on Louisa Street, police said.

Napa police are reminding the public to secure windows and doors at night following a burglary Thursday evening in the 2300 block of Clay Street.

According to police, the suspect entered the home through an unlocked door and stole items while the resident was asleep. Police would not disclose what property was taken citing an ongoing investigation.

Also on Friday night, police chased and arrested 23-year-old Napa resident Frank Folster after responding to a fight in the 2200 block of Louisa Street.

Folster, who is on felony probation, fled from police, jumping over several fences and into yard in an attempt to elude arrest. He was found hiding in a yard and arrested on charges of evading arrest and prowling.

Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.
