Stolen-Car Driver Booked at Juvenile Hall, Police Say

Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

A juvenile suspect was arrested for vehicle theft Wednesday afternoon after a Napa woman told police at about 2:20 p.m. that her car had been taken from her driveway in the 500 block of Roosevelt Street, according to a shift activity log released by the :

Shortly after the incident was broadcast by the Dispatch Center, patrol officers located the vehicle in the area of Homewood and Chelsea Avenue.

Patrol officers effected a traffic stop and detained five juvenile occupants.

The driver of the vehicle was booked into the Napa County , police said.
