Stolen Bike Lands Man in Jail

Arrest information does not indicate convictions.

A 65-year-old Napa man was jailed Monday evening for possession of stolen property and violation of probation, according to a shift activity log released by the City of Napa Police Department:

Jerry Milton Fowler, Sr (5/17/46) was contacted by a NPD Officer near the WalMart on Lincoln Ave. Fowler was in possession of a bicycle that had been previously been retorted as stolen. Fowler was also confirmed to be on current Napa County probation and the possession of the stolen property violated the terms of his probation.

Fowler was arrested and booked at the Napa County Department of Corrections following the 6:40 p.m. incident, according to police.

Sunday at 3 p.m., according to Napa police, 41-year-old James Peters of Napa was arrested at South Napa Market Place for being a parolee at large. He was booked at the Department of Corrections.
