Stay Calm! Gunshots & More Heard Near Timberhill and Alston Parks are Police Training Exercises

The Napa Police Department is conducting training in the area of Timberhill Park and Alston Park today -- Monday -- until about 1 p.m. 

There will be signs about the police training at the parks during the time of the training.

It is possible that residents in the area will hear gunshots from Timberhill Park. Be advised this will be blanks being fired as part of the training.

Please respect the areas closed due to the training and we appreciate your understanding during these brief closures.

Neither Timberhill nor Alston Parks will be closed today during the training.
