Speeding Napa Teen Leaves "Path of Destruction"

CHP is investigating the 18-year-old on suspicion of reckless driving after he lost control of his speeding car Sunday afternoon, smashing into parked cars and portable toilets and damaging a house, according to the Napa Valley Register.

 

An 18-year-old Napa man left what the California Highway Patrol called a "path of destruction" after losing control of his car on Big Ranch Road Sunday afternoon, according to a report in the .

The article reports that 18-year-old Brandon Yadaobazan was speeding south toward the Oak Knoll Road intersection when he lost control of his 2003 Infiniti G35, which hit a rock wall and went airborne.

Yadaobazan's flying Infiniti smashed through the porch of a house, damaging the dwelling so badly that some rooms cannot be occupied until structural work is done, befor crashing into parked cars and portable toilets and flattening rows of grapevines in a vineyard where the vehicle came to rest, according to the Register article.

Yadaobazan and his 15-year-old passenger were taken to with minor injuries, according to the newspaper, which also reports that CHP believes the two survived the collisions because they were wearing seabelts.

Yadaobazan was not arrested Sunday, but CHP is investigating him on suspicion of reckless driving, the Register reports.
