Sonoma Man Arrested After Kicking Up a Fuss, Police Say

He was drunk and resisted officers, according to the Napa Police Department. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

A 38-year-old Sonoma County resident, Joshua Michael Christian, was taken into custody early Friday morning for resisting an officer after a local hotel reported him as intoxicated shortly after 1 a.m., according to a shift activity log from the :

Christian was called in by the Napa River Inn as an intoxicated subject. 

When officers arrived and contacted him he became violent and kicked at one of the officers.

Christian violently resisted arrest and was taken to the ground where he was eventually restrained and handcuffed. 

Christian was later booked in to the , police said.
