PHOTOS: Small Plane Crash-Lands, Hits Car on Hwy 29
The pilot and passenger in the plane were uninjured; the driver of a car and two passengers were hospitalized with minor injuries, according to a report from the scene.
A small airplane attempting to make a landing crashed onto Highway 29 south of Napa just before 1 p.m. Sunday, according to photojournalist Robert Peebles, Jr.
The four-seater Beechcraft may have had trouble landing at the nearby , Peebles said by phone: “It looks like it scraped along the highway as it landed.”
The plane then “clipped the back end of an Infiniti,” causing minor injuries to the vehicle’s driver, Peebles continued.

As it skidded off the highway, the plane also hit a sign warning of the traffic signal ahead, Peebles said.
The two people aboard the aircraft were not injured when it came down in the northbound lanes of the highway just south of Highway 12/Jamieson Canyon Road, Peebles said.
