The California Highway Patrol has closed Silverado Trail near state Highway 121 in Napa due to a fatal accident this morning.
Officers responded to a report of an accident involving two cars on Silverado Trail near Trancas Street around 7:10 a.m., according to the CHP.
A Sig-alert was issued at 7:23 a.m. and both lanes of Silverado Trail at Oak Knoll Avenue are closed, the CHP said.
There is no estimated time of when the roadway will reopen, according to the CHP.
