Sexual Battery, Drug Use Alleged in Napa Arrest

Napa police say they arrested 31-year-old Matthew Allen Wednesday evening on suspicion of charges that also include domestic violence, violation of a restraining order and violation of probation. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

 

A 31-year-old Napa man faces a string of charges after Napa police arrested him Wednesday evening, according to a shift activity log from the City of Napa Police Department:

On 06/27/12 at approximately 1722 hours NPD Officers were dispatched to a report of a disturbance in the 200 block of Foothill Blvd.

Officers arrived and contacted the victim, who reported that she had been sexually battered, and had been hit by (S) Matthew Allen (31 of Napa) while they were in the 1300 block of Capell Valley Road. 

Matthew was contacted at the scene and was determined to be on probation, under the influence of a controlled substance, and in violation of a domestic violence restraining order.

Allen was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, sexual battery, being under the influence of a controlled substance, violation of probation, violation of a domestic violence restraining order and on an outstanding warrant, police said.

Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.
