Ignace Rothschild is described as a white male, born Dec. 5, 1959, 6'4", 230 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Rothschild was convicted in 1996 of indecent exposure in Hillsborough (San Mateo County) and arrested there in 2010 for failing to register, according to the San Mateo Daily Journal.

He later changed his address to Vichy Avenue in Napa County, where he billed himself as an artist, according to an investigative report by Lewis Perdue in Wine Industry Insighthttp://wineindustryinsight.com/?p=43751

The article quotes an unnamed "investigative source" who said Rothschild was convicted in Hillsborough after jumping out of bushes, "buck naked and yelling like Braveheart" at female joggers.

Perdue's article also cites and shows evidence indicating Rothschild used multiple aliases, including Jean-Pierre de Rothschild and Ignace J-P Callewaert de Rothschild; that he may have tried to pass himself off as a member of the French winemaking Rothschild family of Opus in the Napa Valley; and that he was involved in a possibly shady scheme to buy the bankrupt Barrel Stop/Dominari winery earlier this year.

Napa Valley Crime Stoppers is offering a no-questions-asked cash reward for the anonymous tip that leads to Rothschild's arrest. Tips can be made by calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-450-9543 or texting to 274637 with NVCS at the beginning of the tip.
