Update: Fire Left Family Homeless
The early-morning blaze on Kathleen Drive is thought to have been sparked by an electrical wire powering holiday lights, according to a newspaper report.
Updated Jan. 18: The reports that Monday's house fire on Kathleen Drive left a family of six homeless.
The blaze may have been sparked by a short-circuit in an electrical wire powering holiday lights on the front of the house, according to the newspaper report.

Just before 6 a.m. Monday, CalFire and the responded to the report of a structure fire in the 2100 block of Kathleen Drive.
The front of the house was engulfed in fire by the time firefighters arrived, but they had the fire under control within 10 minutes and the residents of the house escaped without any injuries from the fire.
