PG&E technicians were trying to pinpoint the problem Saturday afternoon.
Pacific Gas and Electric crews worked to restore power to 1,868 customers on Napa's north side Saturday, but the cause of the outage hadn't been pinpointed as of the early afternoon.
PG&E spokeswoman Jana Morris said the outage was north of Central Avenue up to El Centro Avenue and then from Highway 29 east to Main Street.
The power was knocked out at 11:19 a.m. and several PG&E technicians scoured the neighborhoods to nail down the problem, Morris said.
