Police Report Hold-Up Attempt at Bank
The suspect had escaped by the time officers arrived, according to Napa police.
Police responded to a hold-up alarm at the in Bel Aire Plaza in north Napa at around 11 Wednesday morning.

Bank employees told police the man was armed with a handgun, Potter said.
Police officers searched the area, but failed to find the suspect.

The man is described in his late 50s, wearing a green hat, sunglasses, green shirt and blue jeans.
Potter was not able to say how much money, if any, the man fled with.
Manager Michelle Bair said nobody was harmed in the hold-up attempt.
The bank was closed into Wednesday afternoon as detectives searched for evidence.
