Police: Off-Duty Napa Cop Arrests Man for Hurting Senior
Roy Hicks, 46, was arrested around 11:30 a.m. Monday on suspicion of felony elder abuse causing injury and misdemeanor battery after attacking a senior on First Street, Napa police said. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

An off-duty Napa Police Officer observed suspect Roy Hicks, 46 yrs Transient, approach and assault the victim for no apparent reason in the 1500 block of First St.
The officer stopped the assault and detained the suspect until other officers arrived on scene. He was arrested and booked. The victim denied medical treatment.
