POLICE: Napa Police Arrest Driver for Allegedly Having Meth Pipe

One of multiple arrests on Thursday.

An officer in Napa arrested a man driving with a methamphetamine pipe Thursday morning, a police captain said.

An officer stopped Cecil Britton Orrick, 49, of Napa, who was driving northbound in the 200 block of Walnut Street for a vehicle code violation at 10:44 a.m., Capt. Jeff Troendly said.

The officer searched Orrick and found a pipe with a sizable amount of methamphetamine in his pants pocket, Troendly said.

The Napa Police Department arrested two transients with outstanding warrants Thursday night, a police captain said.

Officers responded to the 3100 block of Jefferson Street after 9 p.m. and arrested Napa residents Ruben Patino, 29, and Jennifer Fields, 28,
police said.

Upon searching Patino, officers found a small amount of methamphetamine and several Hydrocodone pills in his pocket, Capt. Jeff Troendly said.

Patino has two outstanding arrests and is on probation, Troendly said. Fields has one outstanding arrest.

Both were booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections.
