A Napa woman who called police about her son was arrested for child abuse Tuesday, according to a media log from the Napa Police Department:
On 4/26/11 at approximately 1815 hours, Raquel Moffat (40 years) called to report her 17 year old son was out of control and knocked over a coffee table. Upon arrival, officers discovered that Raquel Moffat failed to report that she responded to her son's actions by picking up the glass table and throwing it at her son causing minor lacerations.
Moffat was arrested for child abuse and her children were turned over to Child Protective Services, according to police.
