The year 2013 started badly for a couple whose argument erupted into violence at about 2 a.m. Jan. 1, according to an arrest summary from the City of Napa Police Department:
Officers responded to the 1200 block of Walnut Ave., regarding a domestic dispute.
The suspect, Noah Roman (38 yrs. of St. Helena), got into an argument with the victim. During the argument he bit the victim in the face causing injury and held her against her will in the kitchen.
The victim did not require immediate medical attention and Roman was gone upon the arrival of officers.
A short time later, officers returned to the 1200 block of Walnut and located Roman at the residence of the victim. Roman was arrested and booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections.
