Domestic violence:

Police said they responded Saturday at 9:30 p.m. to a disturbance in the 2300 block of Eva Street. Police said a female victim told them that Alvaro Escobar, 29, hit her, held her against her will and threatened to kill her. Police arrested Escobar and booked him at the jail.
