Napa Police arrest multiple suspects.

 

A 25-year-old Napa man was arrested on suspicion of felony possession and sale of child pornography.

Richard Patrick Evensen was taken into custody at 4:37 p.m. Thursday at a residence in the 1800 block of Main Street in Napa, police said.

Police said the sequence of events began ob February 13, when Napa Police Department investigators received information that Richard Evensen was downloading and sharing child pornography from the Internet.

On Thursday, investigators served a search warrant at his residence in the 1800 block of Main Street.

During a search of the residence, there was evidence of possession and distribution of child pornography using “Peer to Peer” software and computers.

Evensen was taken into custody without incident and booked at the Napa Department of Corrections.

A 38-year-old Napa man was arrested by Napa Police on suspicion of felony vehicle theft, receiving stolen property, probation violation, driving with a suspended licese, and DUI.

John Thomas Carr was taken into custody at abou 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at 931 Old Company Road in Napa.

Police said an officer stopped John Carr in the 1500 block of Trancas Street for vehicle code violations.

A records check revealed the vehicle had been reported as stolen to Napa Police earlier on Tuesday. Carr was also allegedly on active Napa County Probation and his California Drivers License was suspended.

Carr was arrested and booked into Napa County Department of Corrections. The vehicle was returned to the owner.

A 26-year-9ld Vallejo man was arrested on suspicion of felony robbery and conspiracy.

Napa police took Peter Joseph Peters into custody Wednesday in connection with an armed robbery that took place at about 2 a.m. on March 6 at 2004 Main St. in Napa.

The arrest took place at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday, when investigators from the Napa Police Department and the California Department of Justice arrested Peter Peters in the 1700 block of Spruce Street.

Police allege that Peters was involved in an armed robbery that occurred in Napa on March 6 in the 2000 block of Main Street.

Search warrants were served in the 500 block of Wallace Avenue in Vallejo and the 700 block of Starfish Drive in Vallejo. Evidence gathered from those locations led to the identification of Peters as a responsible for the robbery.

Peters was transported and booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections.
