POLICE LOG: Meth Possession, Probation Violation

Napa Police arrest 2 suspects.

A Napa man was arrested early Wednesday on suspicion of methamphetamine possession.

Emilio Cervantes was taken into custody by Napa police at about 7 a.m. in the vicinity of Shetler and Soscol avenues.
 

Police said officers were dispatched to the area of Shetler and Soscol for a suspicious person. Officers contacted the subject who was verbally identified as Emilio Rubio.

During the contact, Rubio gave permission to be searched. A small baggie of suspected methamphetamine was allegedly located at his right front coin pocket of his pants.

Rubio is on probation in Napa County for DUI. Rubio was arrested and booked at Napa County Department of Corrections.

A Napa man was arrested Tuesdayon suspicion of probation violation.

Jason Salzsiedler was taken into custody at about 1:30 p.m. in the vicinity of    Jefferson and Trancas streets.

Police said an NPD motor officer saw Salzsiedler driving his vehicle in the area of Trancas and Jefferson streets at about 1:30 p.m.

The officer knew that Salzsiedler’s license status was suspended and knew that the car that he was driving had been impounded on at least one other occasion.

Salzsiedler was contacted in the Lucky’ s parking lot. He told the officer that he still did not have a driver’s license.

Salzsiedler is currently has post release supervision conditions which he was violating. Salziedler’s probation officer was contacted.

The probation officer requested that Salzsiedler be taken into custody. He was arrested and booked into Napa County Department of Corrections.
