Police Log: 5 Arrested on Suspicion of Various Offenses

Napa Police respond to 5 separate incidents over the weekend.

 

Four Napa men and one man from Vallejo were arrested over the weekend by Napa Police.

They include:

Anthony Michael Kincaid, 27, of Vallejo.

Kincaid was stopped at 11:45 p.m. Friday while driving a vehicle for a Vehicle Code violation in the area of Wilkins and Imola avenues.

Kincaid had no identification and initially provided a false name to the officer.  He was placed under arrest.

A records check revealed his California  driver's license was suspended and he was a convicted felon. Kincaid was allegedly found to be in possession of ammunition, in violation of his parole terms along with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

He was transported and booked into Napa County Department of Corrections.

--Marco Antonio Cabrera, 18, of Napa.

Cabrera was seen by NPD officers walking at 8:11 p.m. Saturday in the  2100 block of Parrish Road.

Officers said they recognized Cabrera as a gang member who is on probation. 

Officers attempted to detain Cabrera but he refused to comply with verbal commands.

Cabrera attempted to remove a knife concealed on his person. Cabrera allegedly physically resisted the officers.

The officers were able to overcome his resistance and place him under arrest. He was transported to Napa County Department of Correction and booked.

--Daniel Lee Deweese, 46, of Napa.

NPD officers said they received information at 10:41 p.m. Saturday that Deweese had been drinking alcohol and was driving with his 6-year-old son in the vehicle. 

NPD Officers located Deweese driving a vehicle as he was returning home.

Deweese displayed symptoms of intoxication, police said. He was evaluated and determined to have been driving under the influence of alcohol.

Deweese’s son was located in the vehicle unsecured. Deweese was placed under arrest and booked at NCDC.

--Rene Serrano, 25, of Napa.

Serrano was stopped at 11:52 p.m. Saturday for Vehicle Code violations in the 1700 block of First Street.

Police said Serrano displayed symptoms of intoxication and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

A search of his person revealed a small quantity of methamphetamine. He was placed under arrest.

A records check revealed his California driver's license was suspended. He was transported to NCDC and booked.

--S-Raul Pino Jr., 30, of Napa.

Pino Jr. was contacted at 8:17 p.m. Sunday in the driveway of a home in the  2300 block of Oak Street after police received a report of a disturbance.

Police allege that Pino Jr. was intoxicated in violation of his probation terms. Pino Jr. was arrested and booked at NCDC.
