POLICE LOG: Drug Possession, Obstruction, Street Gang Association

A 19-year-old Napa man was arrested on suspicion of obstruction, resisting arrest, probation violation and violation of a bail agreement and charges associated with a criminal street gang.

Armando Cazares was taken into custody at around 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Tallac Street in Napa.

Officers conducted a search (per bail/O.R. agreement) at a residence in the 1300 block of Tallac Street.

The residence was that of of a 17-year-old documented gang member who is currently awaiting sentencing on gang-related fight.

As officers approached this address, they saw Armando Cazares, a documented gang member, though a kitchen window. Cazares is known to have two outstanding warrants and be on active felony probation with gang terms.

Cazares saw the officers and fled to the back of residence, where he opened a back door and released a large Pit Bull. Cazares then directed the dog to attack the officers.

The dog decided to flee to back into the house instead of attacking.  Officers went into the residence and arrested Cazares

 Cazares was booked into Napa County Department of Corrections. The juvenile probationer was booked at Juvenile Hall for violation of a bail/OR agreement, association with a known gang member.

A 42-year-old Napa man was was arrested Saturday on suspicion of probation violation.

Miguel Anguiano was taken into custody at Downtown Joe's pub in Napa.

Officers responded to 902 Main St., Downtown Joe`s bar, for a disturbance call.

 Officers arrived on scene and observed Miguel Anguiano, known to the officers to be on Napa County probation for drug related offenses.

Officers contacted Anguiano, who displayed signs of consuming alcohol. Anguiano’s probation terms require he not consume alcohol. Anguiano was placed under arrest for being in violation of his probation.

Anguiano was booked.

 A 26-year-old Napa man was arrested Friday on suspicion of a series of drug and drug paraphernalia sale and possession charges.

Trever James Cabrera was taken into custody at Lucky supermarket on California Boulevard in Napa.

An officer was traveling south in about the 2200 block of California Boulevard when he observed a small white vehicle with a mechanical violation.

The officer stopped the vehicle in the parking lot of Lucky’s on California Boulevard.

The officer contacted the driver, Trever Cabrera, who admitted to having a small amount of marijuana in his vehicle when asked by the officer.

A search of Cabrera’s vehicle resulted in officers finding a hypodermic needles and a small amount of concentrated cannabis (hashish).

Cabrera was arrested and booked.
