Police Log: Domestic Violence Arrest

Police said a man struck a woman and blocked her from leaving until a bystander intervened. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

A 32-year-old Napa man was jailed Sunday evening after a 7:45 p.m. call to police, according to a shift activity log from the :

NPD Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in front of a residence in the 300 Block of Monroe St.

During the course of the investigation it was determined that Tyson Seiger (7/30/79) of Napa was in an argument with the female victim.

During the argument it is alleged the victim fell to the ground and Seiger struck her in the face causing visible injury.

The victim attempted to leave the area in a vehicle and Seiger blocked the vehicle until a bystander intervened and the victim was able to flee.

Seiger was located at his residence and arrested. 

Seiger was booked at the on suspicion of domestic violence and false imprisonment, according to the log.
