On 5-7-11 at about 1630 hours, an officer made an enforcement stop of a vehicle at G St and Spencer St for talking on a cellular phone while driving and speeding. The driver, Marco Antonio Garcia Gaytan (DOB 4/9/87), was identified and found to be driving while unlicensed. He consented to a search and once he exited the vehicle, the officer observed he had something clenched in his hand. Once his hands were behind his back, he dropped (6) small baggies to the ground. It was later determined they contained suspected methamphetamine.
Gaytan was arrested and charged with transportation of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for sales, according to the log.
