Police said the incident started as officers were driving through the parking lot of Walmart, they observed a male subject, who they recognized from prior police contact as Vincent Dennison.

They knew that Vincent is currently on Post-Release Community Supervision out of Napa County. The officers saw Dennison had walked up to the window of a vehicle occupied by a female subject.

The female subject appeared somewhat frightened, backed up and drove out of the parking lot. As the officers turned their police vehicle around to contact Dennison, they observed him walk up to the drivers side door of another vehicle that had just parked in a parking space within the parking lot. Seated in the drivers seat of the vehicle was an older female adult.

Dennison appeared to be trying to talk to the female subject, though she had her window, which was rolled up. It appeared that she was frightened, did not want to talk to him, and did not want to get out of her vehicle.

Officers contacted Dennison and noticed he displayed signs of being intoxicated. Vincent was evaluated and the officers determined he was intoxicated while in public. Dennison was arrested and transported to Napa County Department of Corrections, where he was booked.
