Police Arrest Woman for DUI, Hit and Run, Stolen Car

A late-night call to Napa police Sunday resulted in the arrest of a woman who reportedly stole a car from her neighbor while under the influence of alcohol, then crashed into two parked cars before leaving the scene, according to a shift activity log released by the :
On 10/09/11 about 2345 hours NPD Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1100 block of Kansas Ave. regarding a stolen vehicle that had just occurred.
The victim reported a neighbor took the vehicle without permission and had been drinking alcohol.

When the suspect, later identified as Jeanna Marie Kessler 30 years old of Napa, left the area she collided with two parked vehicles and did not exchange the required information.
Officers canvassing the area located Kessler driving the victim’s vehicle as she returned to the area.

Kessler was extremely intoxicated and failed Field Sobriety Tests.
