Police Arrest 5 Alleged Gangbangers at Lucky's

A Napa man and four Stockton residents, all reportedly members of the Norteño gang, were taken into custody after police found a loaded semi-automatic firearm in their car, according to this police report. Arrest information does not indicate convictions.

Police quelled a brewing gang battle in the parking lot of a north Napa supermarket Thursday afternoon, according to a shift activity log released by Sgt. Patrick Manzer:

On 01/05/2012 at 4:29 PM Napa Police Officers were dispatched to the Lucky's Store, 1312 Trancas St. for a report of a gang fight in the parking lot. 

The caller reported that several carloads of Norteño gang members were in the parking lot challenging people to fight.

Units arrived at the location and located several subjects and a vehicle matching the information provided by the caller. 

The subjects were contacted. During the contact, the vehicle that they were in was searched.

A loaded semi-automatic firearm was located on the rear floorboard under a mat. 

Manzer said that members of the Napa Police Department , which targets gang activity, assisted with the investigation, which resulted in the arrests of five people, “all identified as Norteño Gang Members/Associates by statements, dress, and other items of evidence,” according to his report:

GONZALEZ, Danny (30yrs/ Napa)

REYNOSO, Raymond (22yrs/ Stockton)

REYNOSO, Isaiah (18yrs/ Stockton)

BAUTISTA, Samuel (18yrs/ Stockton)

and a 17-year-old Stockton resident.

All five were arrested for possession of a concealed firearm and gang enhancements and Gonzalez faces additional charges of challenging to fight, Manzer said.
