Police Arrest 4 Motorists in DUI Checkpoint

The checkpoint was set up along 400 block of Soscol Avenue.

Officers in Napa County arrested four drivers during a DUI and driver's license checkpoint Saturday, Napa police said.

During the six hour operation - 6 p.m. to midnight - 1,717 drivers went through the checkpoint, with 23 evaluated for driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Four of those drivers were arrested for DUI, according to police.

Another four drivers had their cars towed and impounded for 30 days for driving with a suspended license. Eleven others were cited for driving without a valid driver's license, police said.
