Napa police arrest suspects over the weekend.

A 49-year-old Napa man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and battery after an incident at 1:45 a.m. Saturday.

Julian Kowalski was taken into custody at a home in the 3200 block of Eugene Court.

According to the police report, a Napa Police officer responded to a domestic violence call between Julian Kowalski and the victim. The incident occurred within a residence in the 3200 block of Eugene Ct.

It is alleged that Kowalski and the victim got into a verbal argument that turned physical. Kowalski struck the victim several times in the face causing injury. The victim left the residence and went to a friend house. The victim was not in need of immediate medical assistance.

Kowalski was located at the residence on Eugene Court and was taken into custody. He was booked into Napa County Department of Corrections.

A 24-year-old Walnut Creek man was arrested at 2:22 a.m. Sunday on suspicion of domestic violence and resisting arrest.

Tramaine Jerome Lamb was taken into custody at the Andaz Hotel, 1450 1st St, Napa.

According to police, Napa officers were dispatched to the hotel  to investigate a subject, later identified as Tramaine Lamb, who was reportedly threatening to fight staff and guests. Lamb appeared to be intoxicated per the hotel staff. There was also a disturbance between Lamb and his girlfriend.

Officers contacted the victim near the lobby. She told the officers that she and Lamb had got into a verbal argument within their room, which turned physical. During the argument, Lamb pinned the victim on the bed covering her mouth as she yelled for him to get off her. This caused injury to the victim, which did not require immediate medical attention.

Due to this incident, hotel management requested that Lamb be removed from the property.

Officer’s went to Lamb's room and asked that he come to the door. Lamb refused. As officers attempted to open the door with a pass key provided by the hotel management, Lamb tried to hold the door shut. Officers forced their way in and took Lamb into custody.

Lamb was transported to Napa County Department of Corrections where he was booked.

A 28-year-old Walnut Creek man was arrested at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday on suspicion of domestic violence and battery.

Kurt Daniel Johnson-Garrett was taken into custody at the 2300 block of Pine Street after an alleged incident at a home in the 1200 block of Trower Avenue in Napa.

According to the police report, Napa officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1200 block of Trower Avenue for a report of domestic violence.

Kurt Johnson-Garrett got into an argument with the victim. During the course of the argument, Johnson-Garrett became assaultive and pushed the victim onto a bed where he struck in the face causing a minor injury. Johnson-Garrett then left the residence. The victim’s injury did not require immediate medical attention.

A short time later, officers spoke to Johnson-Garrett on the phone and made arrangements to meet him in the 2300 block of Pine Street. Officers met his at this location and took him into custody.

Johnson-Garrett was transported to Napa County Department of Corrections where he was booked.
