No Gun Found After Arrest for Threats

Arrest information from the Napa Police Department does not indicate a conviction.

An elderly Napa man was arrested Tuesday afternoon following a report that he was threatening to get a gun, according to a shift activity log released by the City of Napa Police Department:

On 10-11-11 at about 1428 hours, employees of , 350 Soscol Ave, called police to advise there was a male on the property making threats about a gun. 

Officers arrived and contacted Harry Schoonmaker, 69 yrs, Napa Resident.

The victim advised the suspect made threats to retrieve a gun from his vehicle. 

It was unknown why the suspect came to the property as he had no lawful business there and was not known to the employees.

He was placed under arrest for criminal threats and booked. 

No gun was found in Schoonmaker’s vehicle, police said.
