Napa Woman, 36, Killed in Motorcycle Crash

Napa police say Genelle Frontin was riding without a helmet when she crashed her motorcycle into a parked car around 9 p.m. Monday. Neighbors helped lift the automobile off her unconscious body, but she died at the Queen of major injuries.

Napa police have identified the woman who was killed in a motorcycle crash Monday night as 36-year-old Genelle Frontin of Napa.

Frontin died at the  in Napa, Sgt. Paul Paniagua said.

Frontin's motorcycle collided with a parked car on Seminary Street just north of Napa Street around 9 p.m., Paniagua said.

Witnesses were attending to Frontin when police arrived, and she was initially listed in critical condition with multiple injuries when she arrived at the hospital, Paniagua said.

The preliminary investigation indicates Frontin was speeding north on Seminary Street and lost control of the motorcycle at a curve in the road, Paniagua said.

The motorcycle struck the rear of the parked vehicle on the east side of Seminary Street.

Frontin was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision and alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash that closed Seminary Street for three hours.

Witnesses to the collision are asked to call police at (707) 257-9223.
