Napa Teen Arrested with Burglary Evidence, Police Say

A four-month-old residential burglary in south Napa may have been solved with Monday's arrest of an 18-year-old man, according to a police summary.

An 18-year-old Napa man was arrested Monday evening on suspicion of burglarizing a home in south Napa last October, according to an arrest summary from the City of Napa Police Department:

On 10-01-12 Officers took a report of a residential burglary in the 1000 block of Shetler Ave.  

Numerous items were taken during the burglary.

During the investigation, officers obtained evidence linking Villa to the burglary. 

Villa is on probation in Napa County.

On 01-28-13 at 1741 hours, officers contacted Villa at his residence in the 1100 block of Republic Way to conduct a probation search. 

During the search of Villa’s residence, officers located evidence from the residential burglary on Shetler Ave. 

Villa was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections.

Arrest information does not indicate convictions.
