Napa Shoe Store Robbed in Smash and Grab

The First Street shoe store lost about $3,500 worth of merchandise after somebody smashed the glass door between closing time Monday and early Tuesday, according to Napa police, who are looking for witnesses.

 

A longtime First Street merchant was hit by a burglar or burglars on Monday night or Tuesday morning, according to a shift activity log released by the :

Sometime between 6-4-12 at 1700 hours and 6-5-12 at 0807 hours, unknown suspect(s) broke out the front door glass and gained entry to , 1227 First St.

The suspect(s) stole about $3500 worth of various shoes. The investigation is on-going. 

Napa police are asking any witnesses to call the department at (707) 257-9223.
