Napa Police: Suspected Kohl's Thief Arrested

A 35-year-old Napa man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of burglary and violation of probation after police were summoned to a downtown store, according to a shift activity log from the : 

On 8-22-12 Police responded to department store at 1116 First Street, on report of a theft. The male Suspect had fled the store from the loss prevention officer. The Suspect male was located and detained by police a short distance from Kohl’s. The male was identified as Eric Hunt (35 year old Napa resident). The loss prevention officer responded to the scene and positively identified Eric as the person who committed the theft. Eric was found to be on probation for prior thefts and for receiving stolen property. Eric was placed under citizen’s arrest, transported and booked into NCDC.
