Napa Police Seek Two Men After Burglary at Home Where Car was For Sale

Two Hispanic men talked their way into a Napa home Friday afternoon in order to steal from the resident, who had a vehicle for sale, Napa police say. Here are descriptions of the suspected burglars, who may have left in a tan or gold colored vehicle.

Napa police are looking for two men they say preyed on a hopeful vehicle-seller Friday afternoon, according to an advisory message from the City of Napa Police Department:

Two Hispanic male subjects in their 40's came to resident seeking to purchase a vehicle.

The two males used victim's interest in selling vehicle to follow victim inside the house. No force was used.

The suspects worked together to distract the victim and steal items from inside the house. Suspects are described as follows:

Suspect #1 Hispanic Male early 40`s, 5`7", average build, short dark hair, clean shaven, wearing long, baggie tan shorts and possibly a long sleeve shirt. 

Suspect #2 Hispanic Male early 40`s, 6`0, heavy build with a large belly, mustache, short dark hair, wearing jeans and a long sleeve plaid shirt. 

Suspects spoke English to the victim but Spanish to each other. The Suspects may be associated with a tan or gold colored vehicle.

The burglary reportedly took place near Shetler Avenue and Russell Street at about 1:30 p.m., police said.
