UPDATE: Stolen Utility Trailer Recovered By Alert Napa Citizen

Someone stole a utility-style trailer from The Hub parking lot, 2500 Jefferson St., Napa.

A stolen utility trailer that was put out as an alert last week by Napa Police has been found.

Napa police said a resident at 3:15 p.m. on Friday noticed  the trailer parked near First Avenue at Hagen Road in Napa County.

"The citizen recalled the information put out by Napa Police about the trailer stolen from The Hub in the City of Napa," Napa Police said in a news release.

"The citizen contacted Napa Dispatch and the Napa County Sheriff's Department responded," the release said. "The responding deputy confirmed that it was the same stolen trailer, and it was recovered and returned to the business."

Napa Police expressed "special thanks to the sharp-eyed citizen who took the time to call law enforcement," the release said.

 Napa Police are seeking the public's help with information on a recently stolen utility trailer.

Police said the theft occurred sometime between  8:15 p.m. Tuesday and 10:15 a.m. Wednesday. The utility-style trailer was stolen from The Hub’s parking lot, 2500 Jefferson St., Napa.

The license plate on it is 4LG1699/CA.
