Napa Police: Probationers + Substances = Arrests

Police arrested two young Napa men, both on probation, in separate encounters Wednesday, according to a media log released Thursday afternoon by the .

Shortly before 12:15 p.m., officers from the Special Enforcement Unit found 23-year-old Marcus Anthony Parra at First Street and Highway 29, according to the log:

Parra admitted to being on probation in Napa County and consented to a search of his person. He was found in possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and that he had been consuming alcohol. He was arrested for violating his probation and booked.

Just after 7 p.m., 18-year-old motorist Jason Salzseidler was stopped in the 2700 block of Old Sonoma Road for vehicle code violations, found to be under the influence and arrested for DUI and violation of probation, according to the log.
