Napa Police: Man Jailed After Fight on Beckworth

Michael Earl Roberts, 38, was arrested Saturday evening after reportedly attacking a woman and a boy during an argument at a home on Beckworth Drive, according to the Napa Police Department. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

A 38-year-old Napa man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery, assault and resisting arrest after police were called to a reported fight on Beckworth Drive at around 7:40 p.m., according to a shift activity log from the City of Napa Police Department: 

Napa PD Officers responded to a report of a fight occurring at a residence in the 3500 Block of Beckworth. A solo officer arrived at the residence and was confronted by Michael Earl Roberts (10/10/74) in front of the residence.

Roberts was intoxicated and failed to comply with the officers commands. Roberts approached the officers aggressively and after a brief struggle Roberts was taken into custody.

Additional officers arrived at the scene and continued the investigation. An adult female and male juvenile at the residence allege that Roberts had assaulted them during an argument. Roberts was arrested and booked into NCDC
