Napa Police: Man Arrested for Stealing Safe

Some property recovered, but firearms stolen from E Street home are still missing, police say.

Police arrested a Napa man for residential burglary Monday evening, according to a media log released Tuesday by the :

On 4-25-11 at approximately 2100 hours, Christopher Foust (32 years of age) was arrested for residential burglary.

The Napa Police department responded to a residence in the 1600 block of E Street concerning a report burglary at approximately 1500 hours.

During the investigation, officers determined that Christopher Foust and a possible accomplice entered the victim’s home and stole a small safe containing firearms, television, laptop computer, and jewelry.

Officers later went to Christopher Foust’s residence and recovered some of the stolen property.

The firearms are still outstanding.

Police are continuing the investigation, according to the log.
