Napa Police Make Two Domestic Violence Arrests

Police jailed two men over the weekend on suspicion of abusing women, according to shift activity logs from the Napa Police Department. Arrest information does not indicate convictions.

 

Two Napa men were arrested over the weekend on suspicion of domestic violence against women, according to shift activity log entries from the .

NPD Officers were dispatched to a report of a domestic violence that occurred in the 200 Block of Homewood Ave.

The female victim alleged that Jay Alojado (10/25/64) of Napa struck her and caused visible injury.

The victim had injuries consistent with the allegation.

Alojado was located in the 1900 Block of Atrium Parkway, arrested on suspicion of domestic violence causing injury and booked into the , police said.

Police made the second domestic violence arrest Sunday morning after the victim called to report her abuser had returned to the home where he had attacked her less than a week before, according to the log:

On 5-14-12 Jacinto Garcia Navarro 11-22-72, was involved in an argument with the victim at a residence in the 1700 block of F Street. 

The suspect allegedly grabbed the victim by the hair and held the victim on the couch, preventing the victim from leaving. 

The victim was able to get away from the suspect and flee and the suspect also fled the area prior to police arrival. 

On 5-20-12, the suspect was located at the residence when the victim called police again. 

Navarro was arrested on suspicion of felony false imprisonment, misdemeanor domestic battery and misdemeanor violation of probation and booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections, police said.

Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.
