Napa Police Log: Three Arrested in Separate Incidents

Suspect: (42)

On 3-18-11 at approximately 2125 hours, the 's Special Enforcement Team and officers from the Napa County Probation Department conducted a probation search at a residence in the 1600 block of Mary C Dr. in Napa. During the probation search, officers contacted Sally Wetterling in the residence. Sally Wetterling was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance and in violation of her probation. She was arrested and booked in the Napa County Jail.

Suspect: Jose Ortega (26)

On 3-18-11 at approximately 1318 hours, the Napa Police Department responded to the 200 block of Brown St. concerning a report assault. The victim reported that her current boyfriend, Jose Ortega, assaulted her during an argument. The victim received minor injuries, which needed no medical attention. Jose Ortega was later contacted by officers and arrested for domestic violence.

Suspect:  Jason Farrell (37)

On 3-16-11 at approximately 1930 hours, Napa Police officers contacted Jason Farrell during a traffic stop in the area of Solano Ave and Redwood Rd. The vehicle Farrell was driving had no evidence of registration. Officers recognized Farrell from prior contacts and knew he was on state parole. Farrell and other occupants were removed from the vehicle and a parole search of his vehicle and person was conducted. During the contact, one of the occupants told police that Farrell handed them a package and asked that she conceal the item on her person. The package was turned over to police and determined to be methamphetamine. Farrell was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and violation of parole.
