Napa Police Log: Teen Jailed for Spitting on Nurse, Fugitive Arrested on Warrants

Napa police say William Medina, 18, was arrested after he spit on a nurse at Queen of the Valley, while 18-year-old fugitive Armando Cazares was taken into custody on outstanding warrants. Arrest information does not indicate convictions.

Napa police arrested two 18-year-old men with alleged gang affiliations in separate incidents Sunday, according to a shift activity log from the .

The first was jailed on suspicion of battery on a nurse, being drunk in public, violation of probation and a felony gang enhancement, according to the log:

Officers were called to the area of Lernhart and Minahen for a person down. Napa Fire Department Paramedics located William Medina, an 18 year old Napa resident lying next to a bottle of liquor.  Medina was transported to where he spit on a nurse and told them he was a Norteno gang member.  After Medina had been treated, he was booked for the listed charges.

Another arrest came around 2 p.m. Sunday, police said:

Officers found Armando Cazares in the 2100 block of Clay St.  He had two outstanding warrants. One for a gang disturbance in Napa and one for possession of a controlled substance in Solano County. Both were felony charges.
