Napa Police Log: Parolee with Meth; Domestic Violence

A parole search Sunday evening resulted in a return trip to jail for a Napa man, according to a shift activity log released Tuesday by the :

On 5-22-11 at approximately 1847 hours, officers conducted a parole search at Francisco DeLeon’s residence in the 100 block of Bancal Ct.

While executing the parole search; DeLeon was seen running to the rear of the residence. Officers found DeLeon in the backyard throwing items over the fence. DeLeon was detained by officers.

Officers discovered a glass pipe used for smoking methamphetamine and a baggie containing a small quantity of methamphetamine. A search of DeLeon’s person revealed a hypodermic needle found in his pant pocket.

DeLeon was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of a hypodermic needle.

 The log also records that a Napa woman was arrested for domestic violence shortly before 6 p.m. Monday after police determined she had assaulted a man during an argument:

On 5-23-11 at approximately 1752 hours, officers responded to the parking lot of on Soscol Ave concerning a fight. Upon arrival, officers contacted Karrie Casey and a male victim.

Both parties were involved in an argument that turned physical. During the fight Casey assaulted the victim causing visible injuries.

The victim did not seek medical attention, according to the log.
